Oh my! *fans self* This is brilliant! I love this so much. I love your beautiful, gentle dynamic here, and the way you wrote both Katie baby's language and emotions. Also the mentions of what else they get up to--little kisses, and eggs and soldiers. I'm melting from all of the cute here. Getting into Mummy's toy drawer was fabulous, and I love how well it worked out. The little ritual of getting into her own little space was gorgeous as well, and loved the added detail of the flattening of her breasts into the dress.
