ART: Borgin & Burkes Catalogue, Winter 1999

Title: Borgin & Burkes Catalogue, Winter 1999
Artist: Trixie Locket
Prompt Number: #456 submitted by [livejournal.com profile] babydracky
Kink Showcased: human furniture
Rating: NC-17, NSFW (better safe than sorry)
Character(s): the Malfoys, Bellatrix, two other Death Eaters. No pairing.
Warnings: um... brief nudity and human furniture?
Summary: An AU where, after the war, surviving DEs and their allies are reduced to slavery, and can be purchased (for a reasonable price) in the more obscure shops of Knocturn Alley.
Artist's Notes: This wasn't meant to be the final version, I planned to work on it for quite a bit and add a lot of things, too, however real life got in the way. My apologies to everybody, the prompter in particular. Still, I guess it's better to post what I have, than to drop out...

And, as always, many thanks to the mods for posting! (There, I finally figured out the right place to say it! :))

Beautiful but freaky. I'm sure their arms are going to be tired; I wonder if there's a spell to ease the pain? But I guess not, if they're supposed to be under punishment.

OH GOD SO AWESOME. No one ever ever ever does this kink, so I am hysterically happy to see it done, and so well! Many, many thank yous! *starts plotting to save Galleons and place an order* XD

This is making me shiver with dark delight. Seriously - you have such a knack for unusual, "kinky" kinks that nevertheless are wonderfully suited for your art. And you draw them intensely beautiful. I so want that catalogue! Actually, I want a story where this Borgin & Burke Catalogue plays a role. The clash of the mundaness of a mail-order catalogue (in the old-fashioned style suited to the wizarding world) and human beings used for furniture is startling. Can I say that Narcissa makes a very pretty table, and Draco seems so well-suited for the balancing act of the chandelier? :)

Oooh, what a lovely piece! Kinky and highly imaginative, too. Almost Gorey-esque! Love it love it love it.

This is incredible, wonderfully freaky and bizarre. It reminds me of some 18th century erotic engravings. I've never seen that in fandom, though.

Oh gosh, I adore the human furniture kink, and this is so well-done. The catalogue page is beautiful, and definitely looks like something I would imagine a dark, yet high-end, shop in Knockturn Alley would produce.

I adore the chandelier/candelabra. Beautifully tied human. I love the detail in the room scene as well.

One of my favourite things from the fest, I think!

I love the old-fashioned style of it.

Bella is clearly working on trying to cast Crucio wandlessly. :oD

Wow. I must say that the table was especially well done. I didn't even notice it until I looked for it.

Wow, that's so creepy, yet beautiful!

I would so buy the chaise longue! ;)

(By the way, since this is the only way to get in touch with you that I know of :), I run a drabbling community ([livejournal.com profile] deatheaterdrabs), and I was wondering if I could use some of the art you've made for this fest as image prompts in future challenges? We would credit you for the art, of course.)

Really clever and kinky and shivery; like Gorey and Addams mixed. Well done.

I do hope the DE furnature folks are aware of their debasement. That makes it all the more delicious doesnt it? Lovely

Despite the fact that the concept of this seriously bothers me, the execution is very well done :)

That's what the elves are for. :) Glad you like it! T.L.

Thank you! I didn't even think about this, but I suppose you're right. And yet Bella still doesn't seem to be the slightest bit sorry for her crimes... T.L.
