I'm not the easiest of Lucius/Harry shippers to please, and considering the way we both feel about Lucius lately, I'm amazed we're meeting at the crossroads here.
As I told you before, I love the setting. It sucked me right in. And I love that Lucius gets into a bidding war with Bellatrix. I really don't want to meet her in a dark alley after the auction :P
No dirty dungeons. No weird fucking torture devices. And no effin' St Andrews' cross. These seem to find their way into every. single. fucking. Lucius/Harry fic, and I just can't be bothered with those aspects anymore. Completely boring. Can a non-con fic be tasteful and elegant? Yes, it can. And there is nary a doubt in my mind that Lucius wouldn't have things any other way. Awesome Lucius characterisation is awesome. *nodnodnod*
He laughed so hard and so long that in the end it felt the same as sobbing.
That is still my favourite line.
And since Maggie is stalking this thread, I think you two conferred on the bare feet/vulnerabilty issue, because that's so hot, it isn't even funny ♥
