omg YAY! I've been wanting to see some Lily/Prongs for ages. I love how she manages to reconcile her desires with her "good girl" identity by doing something that -- she thinks -- no one could ever know about, which of course ends up being one of the most taboo things she could possibly do. And it's great how the secret of the stag's identity stays just *barely* concealed, teasing us with the idea of him "bragging to his mates". Of course, James might be hard pressed to say anything to anyone, considering what she caught *him* trying to do with real actual deer. :o
