Thank you! I'm really glad you liked it. Like I said in my AN, the prompt totally captured my imagination and ran away from me, so there was plenty of opportunity to slip things in.
The idea for the runes on Sirius' hands was one of my favourite bits too. I have a replica of his wand (because I'm exactly that kind of dork) and the runes on it really do look a bit like the tattoos he has in the movies, so that's where it came from. I like to think it means he can do magic.
Writing Padfoot and Moony was really fun! Difficult, but fun, because the POV is very different.
I wish they could ignore the owl too, but that would make less room for a potential sequel, so... XD I haven't got anything planned for one yet, but there may be more someday. I'll let you know if there is.
