Oh. Oh my god this story. Draco and his poncy bastard buttons and the desk and the talking oh the talking and Harry trying to fight it even though he'd agreed to it and the description of the first time with too much and everything about this I am swooning just absolutely swooning. Like, I knew I would like it because Veritaserum is one of my very favorite things in fics and I'm already in love with the way you do first person POV Draco, but this. This. I don't even know what to do with it other than read it over and over and (apparently) ramble at you. Harry is so beautiful here how he's so strong and so vulnerable at the same time, and feeling like he's dirty for liking the things he likes and Draco. Draco is such a bastard, he's so terrible but I can't help but love him because I can see how much Harry loves him and what they have and how well it works for him. And then the ending, the descriptions of Harry and how he's trying to smile while looking like someone's stabbed him and Draco's insistence that he doesn't want more than that and that it's just sex and then the unexpected tenderness of him kissing Harry's hand and tucking it beneath the sheet and the contrast with everything he just said and how naughty the rest of the story was, and I'm incredibly hit-and-miss with BDSM-type things but something about the way you write it just clicks for me, I think because while the kink itself does nothing for me but the way you write the relationship, the dynamic between them and their interaction, and it's so clear that Harry is submitting because he loves it so much, that comes through it is so brilliant and have I mentioned how in love I am with your characterization? Because I am, And the rest of it. And and. I don't know what else to say. I feel like I'm not saying any of this very well and I should wait maybe and leave a comment on this when I'm more coherent instead of this random verbal flailing, but this is what your writing does to my brain. Please continue to write all the things, forever and ever, okay? <3 <3 <3
