Thank you very much! I really appreciate your feedback. I was up against a deadline when I was finishing this, and I'm still not sure how I feel about the ending, the ambiguity of it. I think I was aiming for something that I didn't quite achieve, but I didn't want the stereotypical happy ending for some reason. Anyway it was good to hear that you found it less depressing after a reread, and I take on board that everyone is grateful Lumosed intervened at least a little!
I usually like the idea of revisiting fics - there's nearly always something else I'd like to say once the story is over - but I'm not sure what it would be in this case. I think if I came back to this one it might end up awfully long and angsty. That doesn't appeal right now!
