I actually saw an artwork based on one of their tangos before I had even heard of the story and just thought I had to drop everything and read whatever had inspired such a delicious scene. And here I am, eagerly anticipating all the rest when the betas and Ashwinder mods finish going through them.
I would love to read that, re the courtesan idea! Gosh it would just be wonderful. I admit that I wasn't sure about the jewellery thing when I first started this, but as it got going, I really got into it. So fascinating and visually interesting to write and read about!
