2017 Kink Fest Posting Schedule

The posting schedule for the 2017 Kink Fest can be located HERE. We did our best to accommodate everyone's posting preferences while also attempting to make sure that we had a variety of types of stories and art for each day.

All participants will have posting access to the community on their scheduled day (or days). You should post your submission at any time on your scheduled day. You may also post in the HP Kink Fest Collection on AO3 and link to AO3 from your entry in the community here. (More information on how to do that will be provided later.)

The mods will not send a reminder email for you to post your pieces, so please put it in your calendars. If you absolutely need to change your date, please email the mods at hpkinkfest@gmail.com.

A brief reminder that claiming remains open and will until posting begins. If you would like to claim a second (or third) prompt, please submit your completed story or art piece to the mods via email or shared gdoc so that we can approve it and then approve your second or third claim. Participants are only allowed up to three claims.

and stupid question- would i be able to schedule my own post ahead of time? so that it goes online on my date? *has fear that something of course will go wrong because it always does*

Yay! I can give you access a couple of days before your posting date if you want to do that, although personally I always find scheduled posts are more likely to mess up than actually posting live...I think it would probably be easiest to post on the day, but let me know if there's any problem doing so and we'll see what we can do.

I do have a quick question, which can probably wait but I'm setting up everything ready to post now:

If we've posted to AO3 do you also want us to post the body of the work on the LJ? Or is a header and the link to AO3 fine? I'll just have to save two versions if we're doing both.

Hi Kitty - sorry for the delayed response. A header and a link to AO3 should be fine. You may also want to do a link back to LJ from AO3 because I know some people really prefer to leave fest comments all together on LJ. :)
