I was really nervous about the ending so I am delighted that it worked for you and you got the sense that Albus was able to break his vows but still be okay, maybe even a bit relieved.
I love a slightly devious Draco, especially as he's baffled at why one would resist their humanely urges so of course he would be determined to sneak in and have Albus for his own.
