That's what I was hoping to show about Harry and Draco. Yay!!! You saw them! :) Harry might not understand/agree everything about Draco—but he knew him, for how could he rip Draco's chest open and not see his heart? ;) If he were to have an established relationship with Draco he had to accept them. But as you said, there was a limit, which I think was something in canon!Harry that I saw—he wasn't too fuzzy about details but he had a strong sense of where his moral boundaries were and he had the will and the discipline to stay within it.
Draco was insecure all the way... but his insecurity made him scheme, made him think. He was the person who fussed on the detail and was prone to get lost on the general picture. :) Harry was perfect for him! ♥
