The chocolate house obviously is in the hands of wizards and witches, as they don't have a website, and not one image of their magical confection exists in the world wide net.

As far as we know, no other fest has been run quite like hp_kinkfest. Now stop snickering, yes, we realise that we were very laid-back type mods. But what we are referring to is our bizarre little hybrid of rules (or lack of) that came mostly from the mods' laziness frustration with the common pitfalls of modding and participating in other fests.

'Weird' stuff hp_kinkfest did:
- allowed participants to either choose a prompt from a prompt list, or not.
- had assigned posting dates and requested participants to post their own fics and lumped everyone who missed out into a free posting period.
- allowed participants to sign-up late - until practically the end of the fest.
- had no restrictions on the number of submissions participants could make.

It was most certainly an experiment. A very pervy experiment, but an experiment nonetheless. So we'd like to take the opportunity to get feedback on it. We want to hear from readers and participants, and even from those that managed to avoid hp_kinkfest entirely.

The names in the poll are public. If you would like to raise a point for discussion, feel free to comment on this post. Anonymous comments are also welcome, in so far as they are relevant and respectful.

There are separate polls for the readers and for the writers/artists because your fest experiences are different. If you were both, feel free to fill out both. :)

When we say 'read fics', we also mean 'view art'.
