Summary: The forces of Light had never stood a chance against Voldemort and his assembled forces of Dark. Dumbledore and all who followed him were defeated in no uncertain terms, with little hope of ever mounting even one attack ever again. Five years later and Lord Voldemort is still raking in the cruel spoils of his victory.

Author's Notes: I hope my prompter will allow for some liberties. While all the pairings offered were het, when I researched charactersm Katie Bell was listed as a half-blood so I could not use her and it was very hard to find other pureblood witches among those we know followed Dumbledore. Yes, I could have used Luna, but I kind of thought Voldemort would look at her as defective or something because of her quirkiness and refuse to use her for breeding. So I included pureblood wizards in the forced breeding as well. My prompter also said "Go as dark as you want". Well, even though this is a fairly short fic compared to all my other works, it is the darkest stuff I have ever written. It is exactly the story that came to mind when I saw the prompt and I still want to ask my brain WTF????!! Where did you come up with this shit??!! LOL I truly, truly hope I at least got the gist of what my prompter was hoping for and that they, as well as the rest of you, lovely readers, will enjoy the results!!

This was exactly what I had contemplated when I put up that prompt. This is the dark dystopian A/U I have been waiting for someone to write for years. You nailed it, MyFirstistheFourth, and I sit in awe as I re-read this tale and how brilliantly it unfolds its simple, yet terrifying premise.

Technically speaking, the piece is well-edited, the characterizations are spot-on, and your plot is full to bursting with awful, dark emotion from the main characters -- all elements that speak of a well-crafted piece. The true strength in this fic, however, comes not just from those things, but from your unique ability to enthrall your reader with uncomplicated descriptions of grim, horrible events, dear author. You extract terror from your reading audience, while at the same time incite them to read on by tossing out a small thread of hope (when we read of the defiance still living in our victimized heroes). But then you go and do the bravest thing a writer can do: you crush the audience with a bleak ending, reminding them of your opening message -- that there isn't any hope in this world for *anyone*. Everyone's going to lose in the end here, and it's abundantly clear why that is: inbreeding (since Voldemort isn't bothering to track his independent variable in this experiment, i.e. who is the successful sperm donor for any of the conceived children). Such poorly-planned eugenics programs always ends with genetic deformities, an inability for breeders to conceive or carry children to term, and/or mental instability in future generations. In the wizarding world, we know Squibs tend to be born more to pureblood families than to half-bloods or Muggle-borns, so we can also assume the strength of magic in future generations will suffer, too. So, although Voldemort may have won this war in the now, his breeding program will be the end of him and his kind, eventually. Tragically, we also understand that this implies there is never going to be any saving our beautiful, abused warriors of the Light from their awful imprisonment and torture in the interim, and consequently, that leaves an unresolved chord of resigned fear for the fate of the wizarding world as a whole... and THAT'S what's bloody brilliant about this story.

I could go on, but suffice it to say:

+ technically competent & emotive writing

Wow. That was such a gruesome and tragic scenario. And having a depraved mind of my own, I enjoyed your dark and twisted tale very much.
And of course Harry (though a halfblood like Voldemort himself) was Voldemort's personal brood-mare. And I loved that he was still the only one not trained well (and therefore needed to be gagged- so Harry). He will probably be the last one broken...

Wow. That was unimaginably dark. What a horrible dystopian life they were forced into. For as horrible as it was, I couldn't look away and had to read the entire story. You wrote it in a very, very compelling manner. Great job!

I worried about this story so much but it flowed out so easily. Every action, every new torment or humiliation perfectly in keeping with the overall tone.
