A bunch of reminders and introducing our tags

1) MOST IMPORTANTLY hp_kinkfest POSTING OPENS AT MIDNIGHT!
2) You are responsible for posting your own fic. As of midnight (Eastern standard time) on your assigned posting date, you will be given access to post to this community. See the posting calendar if you don't remember your posting date.
3) Please post with the standard headers outlined HERE.
4) Still need a beta? Check out the kind volunteers at our kink-friendly beta post.
5) As soon as posting begins, we will no longer accept new prompt claims. If you are done first prompt and want to claim another prompt, please claim it before midnight tonight on the claiming post.

WE HAVE TAGS!!! LOTS of THEM! Your mods have created several tags to cover the most popular kinks, genres and pairings (read: the 'most popular' as 'almost completely random' because they happened to occur to the mods to include and yes, maybe some of these aren't real kinks). Add the tags when you post, to make for easy reading in the weeks/months/years to come as people look to this community to scratch an inch. We will try to update any tagless posts, but it's in your best interest to tag as appropriate.

If you need a tag added, we will do our best to add it if you let us know when you post your fic/art - though we cannot add a tag for every pairing/threesome/moresome. Please try to make do with those we have listed where possible.

I'm a little confused. Your posting date is February 15th. Are you saying that you know you will miss that date?

Basically how it works is you are given only one posting date (assuming you only have one prompt). If you are unable to post on that date for whatever reason, you email the mods to say that you do have something to post, but missed your date.

We will give everyone in that situation posting access from February 25th until the 28th. It will be a 'free posting time', and once March 1st comes along we close the fest.

Firstly - yay!

Secondly - any chance of getting 'slash', 'het', and 'femslash' tags (maybe in the genre or pairing category)? I can understand that you don't want too many tags, but given that there aren't tags for all the pairings I think it might be useful to have a way to find groups of pairings at least. Or maybe I'm just being all 'speshul snowflake' because I want a way to identify the femslash ;-)

Noted. Are there enough Albus Potter/Scorpius Malfoy fics in the wings for it warrant a pairing tag? Or is tagging for pairing mostly to be disregarded in light of these new tags? Asking because it's my fic's requested pairing and posting date is imminent. Thanksverymuch!

Heya, could you change the kink:tattoo to kink:tattoo/scars please? The kink I've written my two for are more scar-related, even though the prompter had said scars/tattoo and left it up to interpretation.

Or that's how I'm rationalising it :D
