A bunch of other reminders and administrative notes
1) MOST IMPORTANTLYhp_kinkfest POSTING OPENS TOMORROW!
2) You are responsible for posting your own fic. As of midnight (EST) on your assigned posting date, you will be given access to post to this community. See the posting calendar (links to google calendar) if you don't remember your posting date.
3) Please post with the standard headers provided HERE.
4) Still need a beta? Check out the kind volunteers at our kink-friendly beta post.
5) You have about 24hrs to post your fic on your posting day. Your access will likely be open for about 48hrs, so feeling free to post anytime during your posting date in your own timezone. We are pretty loose and easy with the posting in the fest.
6) If you know now that you need to drop out, please tell us. Similarly, if your fic is done and ready to post early, you can email us and we can slot you into a drop out spot.
7) If you miss your posting date, but do have a fic to post, you will be able to post it during our Late Posting week at the end of February.
8) WE HAVE TAGS!!! LOTS of THEM! Add the tags when you post, to make for easy reading in the weeks/months/years to come as people look to this community to scratch an inch. We will try to update any tagless posts, but it's in your best interest to tag as appropriate.
If you need a tag added, we will do our best to add it if you let us know when you post your fic/art. However, we cannot add a tag for every pairing/threesome/moresome. Please try to make do with those we have listed whenever possible. Anyone posting with a 'reasonably common' pairing that does not have a tag, just add a note at the end of your post saying 'mods, I need a pairing: asp/sm tag' and we'll add it. It's the stuff like 'pairing: GW/Giant Squid', 'pairing DM/his broomstick' that we want to avoid having specific tags for.
The same goes for any kink that you feel is missing a tag. We are happy to add more - just note it when you post. Thanks!
