HP Kinkfest 2012: fest statistics

Your mods have a stats kink. So, indulge us. ;)
As we mentioned earlier, there were 92 fic and art created for this year's fest. 82 of those were NC-17. ;)

Here are a few more stats for us you to get off on:

By Pairings:
Harry/Draco (27) and Draco/Hermione (13) were the most popular pairings.
They were followed by Ginny/Harry (3) and surprise pairing Sirius/Severus (3).
Six pairings had 2 fics written for them: Draco/Theodore, Harry/Severus, Harry/Sirius, James/Albus Severus, Lorcan/Lysander, and Remus/Sirius.

In general stories were written with 41 different pairings, with 14 cross-gen pairings (mostly Harry's generation with the Marauder generation), 4 next-gen pairings and 4 Maurauder generation pairings.

Of the 5 threesomes, four had either Draco or Harry or both in them.

In all the stories, 18 het pairings, 6 femslash pairings and 22 slash pairings were featured. Hermione was the most popular character in the het stories, Pansy in the femslash stories (she features in 5 of the 6 stories), and Harry in the slash pairings.

By Generation
Kink fics crossed over all generations. The most popular being Harry’s generation with 77 fic/art including at least one character from that generation. 11 fic/art featured at least one next gen character in the pairing. 18 fic/art featured at least one Marauder Era character in the pairing.

By Length:
From the 81 fest stories in hp_kinkfest 2012, the shortest fic was 400 words, and the longest 26,000 words long.

Actually, Fray's "Come for me" was the longest fic this year with 26K. ;)

And I don't mind long kink!fic. As hot as short and snappy is, it's always nice to delve into a longer story with a kinky scenario.
